Our mission is to digitalize African capital market. We have started in Tanzania by creating a digital platform (Beacon Finance) that users can access all of our services.
We do fundamental analysis and technical analysis on all listed companies at the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange. Reports and analysis can be found in the Beacon Finance mobile application.
Our experts will advice you on where to invest while taking into consideration your investment objectives, financial position and particular needs.
We offer IPO services such as valuations, timing & tactics, preparation of prospectus and investor presentations and liasing with regulatory authorities on all regulatory issues.
In 2016, when we were in college, Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA), as finance students we were eager to apply what we learned in class, we realized that it takes just seconds to access financial information of a listed company in USA and seconds to buy securities in USA, but we had to travel 600 km to Dar es Salaam to meet a broker and do what could be done via a smartphone; while in USA capital market literacy is about 80%, in Tanzania it's about 2%.
Since then we started working on solutions that could help Tanzanians to access financial information of all listed companies digitally, learn about investing and speculation and invest in their capital market. Along the way we started Beacon Financials Limited as a licenced investment adviser and developed an Android application "Beacon Finance: Tanzania Capital Market Analysis". This is just the beginning, we look forward to getting into stock brokerage and fund management.
